Ancient Civilization Centers

We finished our study of ancient civilization by creating Mayan codexes, Incan quipos, and Aztec masks.   A codex is a Mayan book that was comprised mostly of pictures.  A quipos was a counting tool, much like an abacus, only it was created with string.

The sounds of Inca Son played in the background as we created all of the projects.  It was definitely a memorable afternoon in room 23.
