The sounds of Inca Son played in the background as we created all of the projects. It was definitely a memorable afternoon in room 23.

Ancient Civilization Centers
We finished our study of ancient civilization by creating Mayan codexes, Incan quipos, and Aztec masks. A codex is a Mayan book that was comprised mostly of pictures. A quipos was a counting tool, much like an abacus, only it was created with string.
